A well thought out exmination of the three films. Just one point from me. Wasn't the setting in a very empty/silent New York (juxtaposed with the noisy urban metropolis we know it to be) a way of building up tension in I am legend.
Whilst I knew of the Price original, I'd never seen it. The 'Heston packing' Omega Man was IMHO a true dystopian classic (as was Soylent Green).
I've probably just annoyed you now...
No those are good points. I just hope that you felt the Will Smith version would have been better with the original ending and no hugely bulked up Will Smith (and had actual vampires in it).
